Who we are & what this covers

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Vire mobile application (“App”), the Vire wearable clip device (“Clip”), and charger(s) (together, the “Services”), and also the advance purchase (“pre-order”) or purchase of the Vire Clip (the “Product”). The Services are operated by Vire Health Oy (Business ID 3183533-4), Huoltotie 4, 04300 Tuusula, Finland (“Vire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By using the Services, you agree to these terms. By placing a pre-order or purchase, you agree to the sale terms in this document. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services or place a pre-order.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Vire. By using Vire, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Health disclaimer

Vire is not a medical device. It is intended for wellness, performance, and lifestyle purposes only. Vire does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making any changes to your health, sleep, or activity routines.

User obligations

Use the Services only for personal, non-commercial purposes. Provide accurate information when creating an account. Keep your account credentials secure and do not share them with others. Do not misuse the Services, including by attempting to hack, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service. Do not use Vire in violation of applicable laws.

Intellectual property

All content, software, design, and data provided by Vire are owned by Vire Health Oy or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App and Clip in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent. Vire may contain open-source software components, which are subject to their own license terms.

Subscriptions & fees

The App is currently free to use. Vire may introduce subscription plans or paid features in the future. Any fees, billing cycles, and cancellation rights will be clearly communicated before they take effect.

Device usage and updates

Use the Clip in accordance with safety instructions provided by Vire. Vire may provide firmware or software updates, which may be automatically installed. You agree to receive such updates to maintain proper functioning of the App and Clip.

Pre-order & purchase terms

What a pre-order does

A pre-order reserves the quantity of Vire Clips you purchase at checkout from our first production run. Pre-orders are fulfilled in the order received and may ship to some regions earlier or later than others. Pre-order availability, timing, and eligible countries may be modified or paused at any time.

Estimated shipping window

• Q2 / 2026 (April–June 2026). 

Dates are estimates and may change. We may refine hardware, firmware, or materials to improve safety or performance. If a material design change occurs or a delay exceeds six months, we will notify you and you may keep the order or receive a full refund.

Price, payment, taxes & duties

The pre-order price is the price displayed at checkout; EU VAT is included, and shipping is free worldwide. We may adjust the pre-order price for future orders without notice; the price you pay at checkout is locked for your order. Payment is captured in full when you place the pre-order. All charges are processed in euros (EUR).

Taxes & duties at delivery:

• EU: none (VAT already included)

Cancellations & refunds before shipment

Cancel any time before shipment for a full refund by emailing info@virehealth.com with your order number. Canceling releases your queue position; a new order will join the queue based on its new date. Refunds are issued in EUR; any difference on your statement after conversion is due to exchange-rate changes or issuer fees and is not the responsibility of Vire Health.

Shipping, title & risk

All units ship from within the European Union via tracked courier. Title transfers on dispatch. Risk of loss passes on delivery to you (or a third party you designate), unless you arranged your own carrier.

EU/EEA right of withdrawal (distance sales)

EU/EEA consumers may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of delivery. Returned products must be in resaleable condition.

Lifetime membership

Your pre-order includes lifetime access to the core Vire App for one account. Vire may introduce optional, separately paid features or services in the future; lifetime access covers core features available at delivery.

Warranty

Vire warrants that the Clip will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for one (1) year from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, modifications, or use not in accordance with instructions. If a valid warranty claim is made, Vire may repair or replace the device at its discretion. This warranty is the only warranty provided by the company, to the maximum extent permitted by law. However, your consumer rights under applicable law remain unaffected, and if local law requires a longer warranty period, this warranty will be extended accordingly. Your consumer rights under applicable law are not affected.

Account termination

You may stop using Vire at any time by deleting your account. Vire reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or engage in fraudulent or harmful activity. Upon termination, your right to use Vire will end immediately.

Limitation of liability

Vire provides the Services “as is” and without warranties of any kind, except as required by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vire shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

For claims arising out of or related to a pre-order or sale, Vire’s total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the order, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Export compliance

You agree not to directly or indirectly export, re-export, transfer, or make available the Services, the Product, or any related technical information to any destination, individual, or entity that is prohibited or restricted under applicable laws, including U.S. export control laws and regulations and sanctions regulations administered by the EU, the UK, and the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Shipping is not available to sanctioned or embargoed destinations or parties.

Privacy

Personal data is processed to fulfill your order and — where you consent — for marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details on processing, legal bases, transfers, and your rights.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland, and all disputes shall be settled in Finnish courts. Consumers may use the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board or the EU ODR platform. Mandatory jurisdictional rights for consumers prevail.

Changes to these terms

Vire may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use after updates (or not cancelling a pre-order after a notified change, where applicable) means you accept the new Terms.
